What we're working on;

The Whistling Trout breakfast room is now open. We are offering a specially prepared hot breakfast entree each day from 6AM - 10AM. Delight in a savory, scrambled egg dish each morning accommpanied with toast, coffee and fruit juices. We invite you to enjoy our newest addition:providing spacious seating for guests to relax and enjoy our lobby, surrounded by local photography of "must see" places to visit  and during fall and winter the warmth of our wood burning fireplace. 

In springtime & early summer the Eastern Sierra come alive with warm sunshine, soft breezes, snow capped peaks and mountain meadow flowers; just as our backyard comes alive. We've refreshed our backyard; the grass & trees are green, the flowers blooming and the creek flowing - we're ready for you!

Our fire table seating along Bishop Creek is so popular, the winter of 2021 we started work on the addition of two more fire tables, comfortable seating areas, expected to be completed by early spring 2022. 

We've been busy inside too, adding updated new closet shelves in all our guest rooms. Maybe a small detail, but we like details!

On the outside we are painting the exterior of the building and completing some work on our parking lot. 

During the winter of 2020 - 2021 we completed all new renovations to our pool; from the plaster to the deck, we have a brand new look. 

For all our Fishermen & Fisherwomen - we have added freezer and refrigerator space to hold your catch until you're ready to take them home. Clean your catch in our Fish Cleaning room, bag them and we'll hold under your name & keep them cold. 

We recognize a lot of our guests go out for day hikes, picnics, fishing or exploring and need bags of ice; we have added storage so we will always have complimentary bags of ice for guests, just ask our Front Desk. No more standing at the hallway ice machine filling up your ice bucket over and over again!
